More To Love
Apply a moisturizing highlighter product to the high points of your face - the tops of your cheekbones, down the center of your nose, above your cupid's bow, and on your brow bone.
Use your fingertips or a makeup sponge to gently dab and blend the liquid highlighter. Avoid rubbing, which can disrupt the base makeup underneath. Giving you a natural dewy glow.
Dry/Dehydrated Skin:
Opt for a liquid or cream highlighter formula (Dew, la, la), that won't cling to dry patches. Look for highlighters with moisturizing ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid & oils.
Oily/Combination Skin:
Powder formulas have a more buildable, satin-like sheen that won't look overly greasy. Look for powder highlighters with a finely-milled, smooth texture. (Cookie, Dandelion and tickle)
1. Before Foundation:
Apply the liquid highlighter first to the high points of the face (cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow, brow bone) which allows the highlighter to act as a primer and gives a glow that shines through the foundation.
2. Mixed with Foundation:
You can also mix a small amount of liquid highlighter directly into your foundation before application to create a glowing base makeup.
3. On Top of Foundation:
Apply your regular foundation first, then go in with the liquid highlighter on the high points to build and control the intensity of the highlight.
